Super Bowl 60!
Can you believe the quest for the Lombardi Trophy 🏆 is 60 years old? And this game is now scheduled in February? What happened to those January Super Bowls? All that muscle and power with its 22 players on the field going for broke with each play truly gives me pause. Frankly, it’s because the story is about winning and the glory. However, we all know that behind the scenes are the injuries, many season ending that we are hardly notified about. Concussions, ACL tears, and mo

Love in Action
My writing friend, Diane Osgood, is at it again with your Shopping Superpower, this time with Valentine's Day right around the corner. The guide is in PDF format and can be opened with no problem by just clicking this link - Love In Action . Note: While writing this blog and adding the link, I tested it to ensure it goes directly to the guide, and it does! One key takeaway from the guide I like to follow is to shop locally. I'm a solopreneur myself in T-Shirt quilts/Memory Q

World Cancer Day!
Today, February 4, is World Cancer Day. It’s a day shared around the globe as we honor the strength and resilience in both children’s and adults’ lives affected by cancer, along with their families and friends who stand by their loved ones as best as humanly possible. Let’s face it, cancer is not easy for anyone going through treatment, young or old(er), as it typically affects the body, mind, and soul, more than is imaginable. I was talking to my sister about this marked day

Bill Tomoff - Guest Blogger and a Ripple of Kindness!
Hubby Bill has written a few books, though never published them. Anyone can write a book, story, or novella and privately publish (not for the public) using apps like Lulu. We are familiar enough with Lulu's easy-to-use platform, so Bill uses this one. If you have already written a book, poetry, or anything that would benefit from a book format (it's like your name is in lights on Broadway!), this is the way to go. I know several other writing friends who have used this met

Last January Sunset 2026
January started out with a bang for Needle On Full Quilts. I am grateful and forever honored to create treasured keepsakes for my customers. Sew, my queue of Tshirt quilts took top priority today - I sewed seven hours straight! Once the sun began its descent, ice still glistening and a problem, I was sitting on my hot seat at the dining room table. I was all entrenched with sewing bindings on a few quilts, the finishing touch, but noticed sunlight dancing on the walls neat wh

1/2 "Snowmaggedon"?
There has been a lot of talk about all the snow and ice for 200 million people across the USA. I think some parts got hammered, and some parts got lucky. Here in the Mid-Atlantic, I think we fared well. Thankfully, we still have electricity and no ice storms. However, I think I saw "snowflakes" as dip-and-dots, so half ice/half snow. Crystals, I'd say. I refuse to drive or shovel, but my guys weathered the storm and got out to push the shovel around a bit. Thank you! I just d

Artistic Life Thrives in Local Quilt Shops, including Maryland!
When Joann Fabrics filed for bankruptcy, went out of business, and closed all its doors across the country in May of 2025, for fiber artists and other crafters, it was a massive blow to where we could get supplies. Sure, there is a huge online presence, but say that I ran out of black thread and needed it to finish my project, a quick run to Joann’s to pick up one spool of thread was easy...and local. And say, I needed navy blue quilting cotton for another project coming up,

January Sunsets
I’m a big fan of January sunsets 🌅! Lately, they have been few and far between due to inclement weather and even “snow” and rain. Egads! However, when the sun is shining during the day, I just know we are in for a thrilling surprise when the skies light up with hues so bright and clear that really rocks my world (and windows and walls). And, frankly, wasn’t New Year’s Eve just a day ago? How have 19 days passed by so quickly!?? Raw photo. bSoleille! Terri

The Sopranos
Yes, I’m a little late to this iconic pop-culture series! Watching TV is one of my guilty pleasures, since I don’t go to the movie theaters much these days. Hubby Bill and I never wanted to pay extra for HBO/HBO MAX, and today it is $22/month, so I’ve never seen some of the wildly popular shows on that service, then and now. However, it is much easier now with other streaming services buying those shows for new audiences like me. While traveling with my five other bee-mates t
