Chasing Away Winter Blues

Writer: Terri TomoffTerri Tomoff

A cheery bouquet bought from the local grocery store certainly brightens the dark and gloomy days we've had recently.

Years ago I vowed to myself to celebrate all days with flowers - from my garden or elsewhere. If on a budget, carnations go the distance and could last almost a month by swapping out the vase water with fresh water every few days.

Hubby Bill has taken over the flower shopping, and he's done a spectacular job selecting the freshest flowers he could find, as he realizes they last way longer.

When I walked down the cool hallway early one morning, the sunlight shined brightly on my newest bouquet 💐. I had to take a photo right quick.

Manufacturing Sunshine at it's finest!
