Today is not only the reveal of the Christmas Raffle Quilt 2025, but the start of selling chances for the next TWO WEEKS! Based on last year's feedback, extending it by an earlier start date and another week to extend the chances sounded good to me, so here we go!
So, as the year winds down, my heart fills up. NeedleOnFull has been in full swing with T-shirt Quilts and, of course, a holiday-themed quilt to raffle off for families facing financial strain due to a newly diagnosed child with cancer.
Gratitude and Kindness have been the drumbeat of 2025. I’ve traveled near and far, spent treasured time with my immediate family (and sweet baby grandson!), and with a dozen others on our trip to Tuscany, Italy, went to my dear friends' the Gawnes son's wedding in California late summer, created quilts with beloved “old” friends, and made some bright new ones along the way. I keep pinching myself—what a blessing this life is. I truly am one lucky gal!
But with all that goodness, I will never forget the many holidays we spent inside hospital walls… holding onto hope while so many others prayed for us. I'm passionate about families that are facing tremendous medical challenges, especially childhood cancer who don’t get a break when the holiday lights go up. Their battles don’t pause for turkey dinners or twinkling trees, unless they are near the nurses' station, and perhaps in their "spare time," decorated around the floor.
That’s why, now in my fourth year, I stitch together fabric and faith into something bigger than a quilt. I create a way for ALL of us to Manufacture Sunshine for at least one family in crisis. Last year, we helped a few. This year? Maybe a few more. That’s the dream. That’s the mission. We know it helps, and we understand how important it is to #helpothers even through a raffle quilt.

Maybe you have been busy like Santa’s elves, getting the house cleaned and prepped for the holiday season. Just maybe the tree got up, and lights are strung around it, and the outside looks all pretty. Perhaps decorations are coming out of the closets, attics, and stored boxes, and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas (though we still have Thanksgiving this week, too!). But it is late in the calendar, and I get it with decorating for these two big holidays starting now (or over the past couple of weeks). Since, like you, I’ve been one of those Santa’s elves, not in decorating the house just yet, but in creating another Christmas quilt to raffle that I hope you'll join in on the fun! This quilt may be the perfect touch for your sofa, a bed, or over your favorite chair. It could also be a gift for a loved one, so please don’t miss out on some chances to win it this year! Good Luck!
