Adventure Starts in Aegina, Greece 🇬🇷

I made it to Greece without a hitch; it only takes about 10 hours from DC to Athens on a direct flight (the best kind). We had friendly skies during the 5,200 mile ride.

A big treat for me was having the whole row to myself. I bet you can guess that I laid down and slept!…for a few hours. But, I’m really beat right now despite the extra sleep I never thought I’d get.

A couple of years ago, I also had the chance to sleep soundly and stretch out over three cushioned seats on an aircraft.

I’m here visiting with my friend, Kris, who has been a part of my writing groups that meets up in France in the spring. When we were together this past May, she made an offer for me (and hubby Bill) to come stay with her in Greece, as she rents a place for a couple months and likes visitors. I took her up on this golden opportunity and booked my ticket in June.

I can’t wait to explore Greece!
