West River, Maryland- Fall Quilt Retreat 2026

Thank goodness I had 24 hours to recover from any lingering jet lag and washing two loads of laundry before heading to my quilt guild’s fall retreat at noon today.
Since I haven’t heard the soft sounds of my sewing machine for close to three weeks, I was giddy to drive over the stunning autumn landscapes to the bank of the West River. When I left Maryland for Greece over two weeks ago, the weather was warm, almost summer like. It didn’t take long for the chlorophyll to do its magic in changing leaves from green to brilliant hues of yellow, orange and red upon my return.
Counting today, I have three full days of sewing ahead along with my sewing sisters and three square meals!
I finished my first project was sewing my Needle On Full logo onto 50 white tote bags. Every quilt I finish goes home in one to the delight of my wonderful clients.
This weekend is going to be epic! All following an epic adventure to Greece!
Oh, by the way, I still have a few more Greece stories to share. Stay tuned!
bSoleille!
