Happy Independence Day here in the USA 🇺🇸! I suspect from coast to coast there are celebrations including BBQ’s, hamburgers and hotdogs, lawn games, the beach or lake, drives, picnics, or maybe just hanging out poolside.
We are in the poolside camp. I’m thankful we had a glorious hot day to enjoy the refreshing water and people from the community doing the same thing with their families.
I hope everyone had a good day too. We are truly in the thick of summer and this makes me happy 😊.
As I craft this post, I hear the firecrackers and fireworks in the distance. Once it’s fully dark I may slip out to see if I can see some of them shooting high and colorful into the sky by my neighbors (I am engrossed in a good book!).
