Happy Birthday, Bill (and Don)!

Today's birthday with twins Bill and Don Tomoff is that "funny" one in today's vernacular: 67. They are both doing their things in different states, but I'm sure they will be on the horn a few times today, laughing and sharing the usual stuff they talk about daily (they are right now as I type this post).
For us here, we celebrated a week ago by going to one of our favorite restaurants in WDC, Founding Farmers, for their delicious brunch. The celebrations included Ryan's Bone-Marrow Transplant Day (November 3), my birthday on the 12th, and Bill's today. A three-fer!
But it's always good to share how meaningful people are in our lives, especially on their birthday, with another candle on the cake and the start of another strong lap around the sun. Bill is that guy for me: kind, caring, compassionate in everything he does, and the best husband, father, and now Grandpa Bill (what guy fights over changing our grandson's diaper??? - well, that is Bill). And, he also finds joy in the little things, which is the biggest compliment of all, because so many little things add up to make our lives truly blessed and filled with sunshine. If not, we have learned to manufacture sunshine as best as we can. Frankly, we are a formidable team; I couldn't have reached this point in my life without him!
Happy Birthday, Bill!
Sto Lat! In my Polish upbringing, this is the song for birthdays...May you live to 100 years! The song is 25 seconds!

Love,
Terri
PS...Oh, I hear them on the phone once again...
