Day 11 of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with Paul Godleski!

A super fan of the book The Focused Fight, my brother-in-law, Retired Air Force Sergeant Paul Godleski, has shared the value and message contained in the pages with close to two dozen people so far. We had a great chat via zoom. I hope you will tune in for some gold nuggets shared. Paul, a cancer survivor living in Cleveland, Ohio, had his treatment through the Cleveland Clinic and is thankful to all who cared for him, from the custodians to his primary doctors. I also love how Paul shared the kindness bestowed on him through his journey in the last several years.

I'm also giving a nod and salute to the first responders from the tragedies of 9/11/01. As we have learned, cancer waits for no one. It did not stop for a world crisis either, so individuals and their families continued to face their battles, possibly sharing space with others at that time in New York City and Washington, DC.

On active treatment at that time, Ryan was going through a good spell (meaning no hospitalizations a few days before or after 9/11/01). Once he needed to return for his chemo/blood products, Medstar Georgetown University Hospital was accommodating all their patients again.

Thank you for reading and viewing the videos! We are manufacturing sunshine together and learning from each other every step of the way.
