Wacky Weather for All!

Or a different way of saying the title of this blog post is March Madness...
It's daunting when the old saying "In like a lion and out like a lamb," for the month of March is nothing of the sort. Or worse yet, how about the middle of March? Basketball brackets aside, a 60-degree swing from 89 degrees to 30 degrees in less than 24 hours is doing a disservice to our plant kingdom and more. It's the lion roaring in mid-March. So, really, how does one dress (or pack) for these swings?
We had bloomin' daffodils and cherry blossoms all proud of their sprouts and colorful flowers, yet the following morning, those same pretty flowers were shivering from the gobs of snow falling and adhering to them. If they were out of sorts, so was I! It all seemed so dreamy to me, except for adding layers to my shivering body in cotton... not wool, like I am used to wearing on cold days (we were out of town and didn't suspect a weather turn so abruptly). Those poor daffys couldn't.
Cheers to warmer days ahead. And, for the month of March, to figure it all out.
bSoleille!
