Hubby Bill is hard a work writing a book that he plans on publishing “soon” called the same title of this post, “The Gentle Advantage.” It basically means that The Gentle Advantage is a lifestyle, taking it easy in most things in life like adopting a gentler mindset. Bringing kindness and offering help to others in this world is the spirit of The Gentle Advantage. Today, we noticed, this also can be used for our furry friends.
When there is a name for what you may see and experience thoughout the day using the concept of TGA, it all seems to makes sense. Bill is so excited about this new endeavor, he even had cards printed up to share with interested folks. I believe he is really onto something here, and thrilled that he is pursuing his writing with a focused passion.
A concrete example of TGA can be found along the Crofton Parkway, where Bill and I walk most days. Out of the several hundred homes we pass during our four-mile trek, two households have thoughtfully placed water stations (large bowls of cold water) for walkers with their four-legged companions. One even offers dog biscuits! It’s a small gesture with a big impact, proving that kindness doesn’t have to be grand to make someone’s day a little brighter, even if that someone is a puppy dog.
A gentle advantage, you wonder? It sure is!
It’s the little things…
Please stay tuned. I will share here on this blog once the book is published!
bSolielle!
