Poggibonsi to Power Naps

Caio Bella!

The first week in Italy 🇮🇹 went by fast and furious like a crazy Ferrari driver high on life (and maybe a little vino). I’ve been immersed with family and friends and the amazing culture that surrounds us in the Tuscany region, and loving every moment.

Once home I’ll reveal some sweet stories on our travels; from Rome, Florence, San Gimignano, Monteriggiono, Siena, and, of course, Poggibonsi. Every day blogging from here would have been hard because I wanted to/am living the moments from sun up to sun down, and plan to still do it until we board our plane this weekend!

Funny thing though as I thought about writing this “quick” blog, it’s been all about the P’s:

Pasta

Penne Pasta

Piazzas

Pizza

Power Naps

…and last but not least, our humble 200 year old Villa Vada in Poggibonsi.

I love the whirlwind of activity, though slowed down to a nice pace this week, and this morning to create this post!

Last thing, the cities are wildly crowded except if arriving between 8-9 am. After that, forget it. That’s pretty much every place we visited, including some of the smaller hill towns in Tuscany.

Below are a smattering (only one would load for now!) of travel places and the people I’m sharing this wonderful two weeks with! More photos once home with strong WiFi.

Ciao!

Terri
