Magical Retreat in the Cevennes!

It’s our last night in the South of France! 🇫🇷 spending the night in Marseilles (an airport hotel). Did you know that the Best Western here is really very nice? The food too! Everything so delicious 😋.

I can’t believe three weeks went by in a flash, especially the last week on the retreat for writers. My tender heart is filled with gratitude and tremendous joy to spend quality time with amazing humans!

From the outdoor dinners, Pont du Gard, the writing with others that helped deepen friendships made online over six years ago, out louds, the Saturday Market in Sommelier, singing together, traveling through the Cevennes, the party at St. Felix Cafe, the Mas (chateau built in the 14th and 15 centuries with all its quirky charm, and our fearless leaders/friends - Diane Osgood and Cindy Villanueva, we are headed home refreshed and renewed.

In the coming weeks, as I get back to my book, I’ll also share more stories to about this trip and more photos. Our days have been packed, and the evening dinners started late, like 8:00 pm and after. Happy Hour was before the dinners! Every minute counts.
