Day 9 of CCAM🎗️ - Jim Wereszczynski's Heartfelt Reflection on The Focused Fight (may need a tissue)

A Heartfelt Reflection from Yinzer Extraordinaire, Jim W.
When I mentioned in The Focused Fight that once readers reach the illuminating reflections from the village in the back of the book, you may need a tissue or two.
Some people take it to heart, like Jim Wereszczynski, of Yinzer fame at The Putaway Pickleball Club. I hope you tune in to his 4-minute video on his reflection on “reading” it, or, more aptly, listening to it as an audio recording (found on Apple Music/Podcasts, Amazon, and Spotify).
I was so impressed by how Jim expressed his desire to read the book and share it with The Putaway folks two weeks ago in celebration of his 68th Birthday (he purchased 30 copies for us to sign and give away at the party). He’s worked in the medical field for over two decades and was gobsmacked by the power of community and connection he found while listening to the book.
I hope you have an extra 4 minutes to spare to tune in to our conversation.
And maybe that’s one of the most important parts of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. You don’t have to have lived childhood cancer to care about it. You don’t have to know exactly what to say or do. Sometimes you simply listen to someone’s story, let it touch your heart, and then find your own way to carry the message forward to others who may be in the same boat.
Jim did exactly that.
One listener. One story. One more person going Gold. 💛 🎗️
