Three years and one day ago, I nervously pushed the button to upload The Focused Fight to the KDP platform (Amazon) in e-book format. It was an exciting moment in my life, one I will cherish forever. Not only was this book written to help others who may be traveling down a similar path with Childhood Cancer or any cancer at any age, but it also made Ryan, Olivia, and Bill be seen and heard within the stories told and in their amazing and heartfelt reflections (a large part of the book).
Two weeks later, I uploaded the paperback version on Olivia's birthday, which was my ultimate goal.
In August 2023, I recorded the entire book to become an audiobook. That is still in the cards, but I need to hire out to get it uploaded since the learning curve is so great, and it would take me too many hours with not the best equipment to get the job done the best way. In the next few months, I plan to find someone who will finish my raw files with a genuine audiobook for your listening pleasure!
For all those who have read any part or the whole book, I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I stand proud, with an open heart of love and thanksgiving for all the gifts received since I pushed that upload button. It's been a great ride so far, and it continues to be when people find it, no matter what their story is.
One more BIG Thank You to those who graciously became beta readers, editors, invited me to book clubs, came to the book launch(es), invited me on podcasts since the book's release, wrote with me in WIC 1,2, 3 5/Brainstorm Road and Purple Space and those cheerleaders and readers who waved pom poms in the last three years. You pushed me to help make the book the best it could be in 2021 and beyond, and I am wildlly gratefu. My heart is full!
