Thank you for taking the time to read my post yesterday and sending well wishes and congratulations to our family. I now know how my parents felt when I announced I was expecting 31 years ago. They were so excited to hold that first grandbaby in 1992, and we are, too, in 2024! Our worlds are changing, and we couldn't be more excited.
As new babies enter the world, so do some elusive flowers. While sliding into my "hot seat" to write recently, I glanced at one of the potted plants next to me and noticed a purple flower hidden among the greenery (and some dead leaves as well). I peeled back the greenery to take a closer look at this flower that I'd never seen before. I am taking it as a good sign!
Now for some pruning with the hope of something else possibly flowering.
