A solemn awakening to new beginnings this Easter Day. If you celebrate, I hope you had a great day with your family and friends, joyfully acknowledging Jesus rising from the dead.
Also, for those who celebrate Passover (this past Wednesday), I hope the celebration of the Israelite's escape from slavery in Egypt was met with the seder meal accompanied by traditional prayers and recitations.
Next week is Eid al-Fitr (Friday) which will be celebrated with more sweet food in the Islamic world after all the fasting during Ramadan!
I think it is rare that all three monotheistic religions are celebrating their biggest holidays within 10 days of each other. I guess 2023 is when all the ancient calendars aligned and enlightened us!
